The Sales Analysis report provides built in business intelligence functions to ChiDesk. Using a pivot table, you can quickly group and summarize sales data by a variety of fields.
Built in charting automatically updates to visually represent the changes you make to the pivot grid.
How to use the report
-
Set the selected start and end date ranges. Note that selecting an overly large time period will slow down processing.
-
Click the Edit Fields button to show a complete list of available data fields.
-
You can drag fields from the All Fields list onto the Row Fields, Column Fields and Value Fields lists to group by your desired columns.
-
For instance, if you wanted to group your sales by Year. Drag the Year field onto the Column Fields List. If you wanted to group by Employee, you could drag the Employee field onto the Row Fields list. You can also add additional data fields such as Cost, Profit etc. by dropping them on the Data Fields list area.
-
To hide or remove a field, drag it back to the All Fields section.
-
Click the Export button to export the pivot grid to an editable Excel format.
